Open up yourself in this lockdown

Hello all!

Heartily welcome to my very first post on this blog.

Corona pandemic has greatly affected all of us. We all were so much habitual to keep running after life and rarely had such a lockdown time to sit down calmly for couple of days. For early few days of lockdown, we finished our sleeping or resting quota and now are looking forward to surpass the quarantine stress. Let us enjoy this so called QUARENTINE to power up ourselves for better tomorrow. How? Here are few simple, yet very wonderful techniques we are following this quarantine and its working amazingly. I hope you will also find it interesting.

  • STOP reading and forwarding unnecessary news on Corona

First of all, cut down the stress chain. Stop reading, watching and forwarding stress creating news on Corona. Continuously allowing yourself and other to be a garbage bag, to many rumors without validating the actual reality can worsen the situation. Sometimes your forward could be like rubbing the salt on deep stress wound. Don’t become panic and don’t make others as well.

  • Enjoy and share motivational stories

Start reading and watching motivational stories and messages. World is a bigger place where many good things are also happening. Start using social media to reach to fantastic people who are still doing great jobs and making this place to live in a better way. let’s be hopeful and share the great hope for tomorrow.

  • Enjoy THE TIME with people around you

From last many year we were running and running for all unreal things, without realizing that whatever we are doing is to share with people around us. Let’s utilize this time with your people doing all thing you founded stupid. Here are few -

  1. Let’s crawl down below sofas and bed to play with children.
  2. Let’s help your mother or wife in her chore.
  3. Let’s dance and sing with family members, even if you are not a good dancer or singer.
  4. Let’s talk to little flowers- plants in our garden and balcony.
  5. Let’s hold hand of your parents and grandparent to ask them how are they doing. Sit together, ask them how are they doing, listen some of your childhood stories
  6. Let’s take out the old album and family videos, enjoy watching them together etc.
  • Exercise more to strengthen the body

We all always complain about not having enough time and energy to go for workouts. Now, with God’s mercy, we all are blessed with quality time to do some workouts to strengthen our body. This is the time to realize our beautiful home can be the best gym to work-out for burning out the laziness. There are number of channels and videos on YouTube guiding you how workout in home and to transform your home into gym. Few links are mention below –

  • Calm down mentally and emotionally

Focus on mental and emotional calmness by practicing Yoga Sadhana, Meditation and spiritual practices. Let’s tune up with inner self to re-know our true nature and purpose of existence. Practice fantastic techniques to clean our mental and emotional garbage. (how to do so? Stay tuned for upcoming post.)

  • Be more creative

As a human being, we are blessed with intelligence, which distinguishes us from all other creatures. Use your creative intelligence to do things differently. Studies shows that, when we start doing thigs differently and creatively, it lowers down out stress and boosts our enthusiasm. So let’s come up with some creatives ideas and strategies to boost your moral to continue existing. (will be sharing upcoming post on this also)

  • Open your windows and look around

Open up your windows of traditional thinking and try to know more about emerging trends in your favorite field. Go through recent research journals and articles to know where the world is pacing up.  This will add more creativity within you.

  • Engage yourself in your hobbies

Many of us have forgotten, what were our hobbies once upon a time…. It’s the time to enjoy with your own company, with real you. So, take out your Guitar from room corner and try tuning something awesome. Bring out your colors and brush out the dust on your canvas hanging aside. Engage yourself in your own hobbies you have forgotten for a while.

  • Invest your time

Value this time and utilize it in all purposeful work or to complete all the pending works. Wander on learning websites. Currently many reputed universities and institutions are offering number of free and paid online courses, covering wide subject area. Here is a small list-

Invest thing precious time to add on more skill to your personality rather than lingering on social medias.
