Self-Forgiveness Week- Day 5 Self-Deprecation

         This page is written summary of instructions that Author gives during her daily- ‘Free Online Forgiveness Sessions’. Motivated by Master Faith Sawey's, in her one of the most astonishing class 'Applied Spiritual Technology' (Manila, Philippines), Author started hosting this online sessions in September 2019, as a part of her service. Author learned this technique from her spiritual Guru, Master Choa Kok Sui of GMCKS Pranic Healing School. These instructions are a part of self-reflection practice guided by Author before practicing ‘Forgiveness Technique’. Every day, she focuses on particular aspect of self/ of life/ of behavior or of relationship, when we have ever hurt either ourselves or others.

 

                            Based on her own experiences and many previous researches, she believes regular self-reflection practice helps to be a better person.  And therefore, she highly recommends regular practice of this technique.



Greetings of the day!

Welcome to the Day 5 of Self-Forgiveness Workout!

            Today we are practicing self-forgiveness for Self-Deprecation we ever did.

Recall the time when you have ever

Deprecated Yourselves.

 

We all love appreciation and therefore, we want people to give us credit. But we, as an individual, seldom admire and appreciate ourselves. We always want people to notice our goodness and good deeds, but we rarely notice our goodness… instead we keep criticizing and blaming ourselves. We blame ourselves for not being perfectionist, we forget to admire ourselves for being good. Of course, there is always a room for improvement, but it doesn’t mean to deprecate ourselves for not being at mark. We have already improved a lot form yesterday, is itself a thing to appreciate. Improvement need time, patience and consistency in efforts. Like we all are practicing ‘Meditation on Twin Hearts for Peace and Illumination’ to be happy, healthy, prosperous, loving and kindful. But practicing it for once will surely not change us completely. If it was like that, then practice it today, and tomorrow we all will be saints…. No need to practice anything then….. But it requires a time. Improvement is a process. And process needs time. Some of us may feel peace and illumination in first attempt of THM practice, but rest may need some more time to get this beautiful experience. How much? No one can tell you… so is with all of us. May be what your siblings and friends have achieved, you didn’t. Even though you and your siblings are raised in same environment, same conditions – you may have different experience and skills. We all are different, having difference time clocks. And so, time in someone’s else clock may or may not be the same in yours. And it is alright. There is no point in blaming, criticizing and deprecating ourselves for not being as successful as they are.

Some times we deprecate ourselves or refuse to take credit because we think it may turn into your pride. But there is difference in accepting appreciation and pride. Appreciation is something which motivates us to continue to walk on the same path. But when it goes into your mind it becomes pride. There is slight line in both of these. But it doesn’t mean to refuse, to accept our share of doing something good. If we still refuse, then we are hurting ourselves. It is as same as not motivating and appreciating the child for all good and respectful things he or she is doing. Let’s not hurt the inner child within us.

 

So, let’s forgive our-selves, for all these deprecations, we have ever done to our ‘SELF’
