Forgiving Parents Day - 2 They are Products of their Parent’s Experiences

         This page is written summary of instructions that Author gives during her daily- ‘Free Online Forgiveness Sessions’. Motivated by Master Faith Sawey's, in her one of the most astonishing class 'Applied Spiritual Technology' (Manila, Philippines), Author started hosting this online sessions in September 2019, as a part of her service. Author learned this technique from her spiritual Guru, Master Choa Kok Sui of GMCKS Pranic Healing School. These instructions are a part of self-reflection practice guided by Author before practicing ‘Forgiveness Technique’. Every day, she focuses on particular aspect of self/ of life/ of behavior or of relationship, when we have ever hurt either ourselves or others.

 

                            Based on her own experiences and many previous researches, she believes regular self-reflection practice helps to be a better person.  And therefore, she highly recommends regular practice of this technique.

Welcome to the Day 2 of Forgiving Parents Work out!

Yesterday we discussed the importance of forgiving parents. There is no doubt that all parents love their children unconditionally. Sometimes knowingly or unknowingly, they hurt us. But deep inside they never harbored any bad or hurtful thoughts against us. Many times, parents have to hurt their child intentionally for sake of better future of their child. For e.g. when a child does something wrong, parents scolds the child, they sometimes slap their child with the intention that he will not repeat the mistake again. Initially a child may feel bad for that, but as he grows up, he realized that whatever his parents acted that time, it was right. If the mistake is very big, parents may discipline the child with some harsh action or words. At the end, it was all for the better future of the child. When they actually hit their OWN child for once, irrespective to the size of mistake or hurt that child caused them, that single hit stroke to child is as equivalent as hitting parents themselves for 100 times. We too, as a parents or guardian, when scold our children, we feel more hurt than that of child. Because no one can actually love us unconditionally as our parents ever loved us. What we called their ‘Expectations’ from us, were never been the conditions for them to love us and if they were, then they had stopped loving us when we failed to fulfill so call their ‘Expectations’. They always continued to love us … whether we were able to stand by to their expectations or not. Those ‘Expectations’ were just target they showed us, to perform well in our life.

Sometimes, under certain circumstances, parents imposed their expectations, thoughts, believes and traditional view points on us. But we can’t blame them for being so. Maybe they were the victims of their own parents’ behavior and actions. After all they are the products of their parents sweet and bitter experiences. Maybe they were not able to get healed out of it, and so they unknowingly forwarded that legacy to you. We can’t hold anger against them, after all we all are evolving and making mistake is part of this evolution. They tried not to let you experience whatever bitter experiences their childhood had, but may be some where they were not able to fully break down this chain. So, let’s forgive them for all hurt they have unknowingly or knowingly have ever caused us. Let’s release them, to release ourselves.
